| Monkeys Might Puke! |
| Monkeys Might Puke is a 24 page small press humour comic, featuring stories and strips drawn and mostly written by Dan Lester. Each issue contains a mixture of self-contained and ongoing strips. Monkeys Might Puke is a comic in which literally anything can happen: postmen make love to letterboxes, heads explode for no reason and hollywood stars do obscene things to corpses. "Dan Lester's comic strips are surreal, clever and juvenile... I split my sides laughing at a story in issue 1 that shows why you shouldn't eat the magic beans that grow into a giant beanstalk." -Comics International "What can I say about Dan Lester? Well Comics International said "Dan Lester's comic strips are surreal, clever and juvenile..." and I couldnt agree more. Well, except for "juvenile", unless by "juvenile" you mean "genius"." -One Neck, www.oneneckhatesyou.com "...Dan Lester... makes the worryingly funny Monkeys Might Puke comics (at least, until the relevant authorities track him down). Dan makes the hands-down funniest one-page gag strips I have ever read. He is unwell. Do not approach him." -Andrew Cheverton, West, Synchrony "...plenty of laughs for mature audiences." -silverbulletcomicbooks.com "Dan Lester's comic is about as wrong as things get, and all the better for it." -Douglas Noble, www.strip-for-me.com "I'm not buying it, it's too rude." -Glenn Dakin, Abe: Wrong for All The Right Reasons |
